Project Overview | Maps must be accurate, readable at a glance, and visually organized, while balancing the input of many stakeholders, each with something they'd like visitors to find. This collection spans over two decades and includes work for the PNE Fair, Playland, Extreme MudFest, and a Nortel corporate campus map from 2000.
My Role & Contribution | Annual updates to PNE Fair maps using a City of Vancouver base • Ongoing evolution of the Playland map, including illustrating individual rides • Full creation of the Nortel campus map in-house • Isometric illustration and design for Extreme MudFest as a freelance contract
Challenges & Solutions | Maintaining visual hierarchy while accommodating every stakeholder's request for visibility is an ongoing challenge of map design.
